Meet David
David is the bereaved father of David Turner Jr.
In 2018 his son David Jr was diagnosed with DIPG and the 8th wedding anniversary of his parents David and Elizabeth. David Jr. lived with DIPG for 3 years, 1 month and 4 days. He advocated at the state and federal level for children like him to have better access to care and treatment to cure childhood cancer.
David has returned to teaching middle school science with a new focus on helping any child going through life long illnesses and advocating for each student needs to ensure success.
David Jr made it his mission to #makeeverydaythebestdayever and his parents continue this mission in his memory.

Contact local ice cream stores and restaurants that serve ice cream and request a coupon for a free scoop to bring the community in or a proceeds night – requesting a percentage of sales be donated to Tought2gether in memory of your child.
