Stacy A-H Remy, LMHC, is a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Washington with more than eighteen years of clinical experience, a devoted stepmother and mother, and a committed advocate for families navigating grief, loss, and pediatric brain cancer.
Her advocacy journey was deeply shaped by the loss of her stepdaughter, Madeline Anne Remy, who passed away at just nine years old from Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) in February 2019. In the wake of Madeline’s illness and passing, Stacy dedicated a significant part of her counseling practice to grief and bereavement support and later became a Certified Grief-Informed Professional to better serve children, parents, and caregivers facing profound loss.
Through both professional and lived experience, Stacy provides compassionate support to clients in her clinical practice and to bereaved parents and caregivers. She volunteers with the Tough2gether Foundation and helps facilitate the support groups Holding Hope with the Hard and Tough Mondays 2gether, offering connection, guidance, and understanding to families navigating serious illness, grief, and bereavement.
With compassion, professional dedication, and committed advocacy, Stacy continues to walk alongside families with hope, honesty, and meaningful support.

Together with her husband, Stacy co-leads the annual Warrior Golf Tournament, created in honor of Madeline’s warrior spirit. Proceeds directly support the Tough2gether Foundation, helping fund research, clinical trials, and financial assistance for families who need support accessing treatment options.

In addition to her counseling and advocacy work, Stacy is a children’s book author whose upcoming book, As Grieving as Can Be, is designed to help parents and caregivers talk with children about grief and loss in age-appropriate, meaningful ways.
